This beech tree had extensive Meripilus decay fungi around the base, and was removed for safety reasons. The video shows the section felling of the tree, using tree specific pulleys, winches and lowering techniques. The large pieces of timber were removed using the log grab, and smaller waste was chipped on site and reused by the client.
